About

I’m a serotinous burnout with a background in digital strategy, technical writing, and rhetorical analysis who made the unlikely day job transition to fundraising ca. 2021. After about 12 years away, I’m also a recently repatriated Montanan.

Montana’s livability challenges right now are no joke and most of our current statewide elected officials are (though I regret to say not the funny kind). Nonetheless, I’m thankful to be back in a way that feels reciprocal, and of course, I try to do my part to be every fascist’s worst nightmare. I believe it’s radical and defiant to be a Joe Strummer-style Johnny Appleseed in a world brimming with vampires who wouldn’t know tenderness from a can of beans.

This website is largely a repository for my heartfelt nonsense on the shared struggle of us quarrelsome but big-hearted weirdos against everything that threatens to snuff us out.

Outside of my day job with an advocacy program for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking, I do the occasional freelance project. You can use my contact form to inquire about your technical writing or digital communications projects, send me your best one-liners, tell me about your dog, or ask me questions.
